This post is to explain what happened and how Inuyasha and Kagome was unfairly treated at the 30th Anniversary show hosted in CN, as we see there are many questions going on at the non-Chinese platforms. We picked some of those are more outstanding, the following isn’t the full picture of how Inukag were unfairely treated.
As the two soul main characters, neither of them and especially Kagome, as well as their love relationship were not depicted as important as Kikyo/Inukik.

Kagome who was defined by Rumiko as the eyes of the reader, and the center of the main character group, doesn’t have any connection lines with anyone else other than Inuyasha. Her line is only with Inuyasha as lover, and family lines.
Inuyasha and Kagome don’t have their own individual wall/display, while Kikyo has two with lines describing her. Also there is a huge heart-shaped Inukik wall with acrylic stand.
In East Asian culture, originated from the ancient China, the red thread symbolizes connection between lovers. The original line episode 47 said “The thread of fate”, not the “read thread of fate”. However, the organizer used the read thread on Inukik with special design, while Inukag has read thread at one of the ending theme, and Inukag has no such special design and description anywhere in this show.
This is the only Inukag wall, no separate wall for either of them.
The most Inukag beloved episode 58, only one small Inukag picture at the bottom, where any <Inuyasha>fan can find a hundred of shots why this episode won the highest number of viewers in Japan when it was on the air. But the organizer seems only has interest for the villain.
Scene of Kagome breaking Kana’s mirror and saved Inuyasha, Kikyo who isn’t relevant was put as the centre of this scene. Kikyo’s picture has been changed to Inuyasha after Inukag fans protested on social media, however not Kagome who is the hero of this episode.
The scene for Hitomiko, where Kagome is the hero who saved her, and for the King of Flower where Kagome is also the hero who battled the villain, no Kagome found anywhere.
They didn’t even show Inukag’s first encounter. So many Inukag fans who went complained on social media that they find Inuyasha and Kagome, who is the absolute centre of the story, whether as individuals or as couple, are important are this show.
Kagome who doesn’t even has her own wall, fan even found the organizer chose duplicated picture, and this doesn’t depict her beauty. Why this picture seriously? This has been changed after protesting.
Left side is the advertisement, Kagome and Kikyo are centred. Right side is the actual display at the show, Kagome is sided while Inuyasha and Kikyo are centred, seems like Kagome isn’t the main character and related to Inuyasha.
